Encouraging the next generation

Chicktime Katy

Chicktime women have come to Katy bringing with them their gifts, talents, and love to boldly step in the gap for the next generation.

We are blessed!  God has knit a unique design into each of our hearts.  “Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good.”-- I Corinthians 12:7.   Our gifts that we have been given when used to benefit the body of Christ form a beautiful, hand crafted fabric.  Stepping out and showing others the love of Christ, we experience the renewal and blessing of being fulfilled in body, mind and Spirit.  “Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms.  If anyone speaks, he should do it as one speaking the very words of God.  If anyone serves, he should do it with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ.”—1 Peter 4:10-11

Krause Children’s Center (located in Katy, TX) is a licensed, non-profit treatment center that provides help, healing, and hope in the name of a Jesus Christ for troubled boys and girls, ages 12-17 that have a history of Physical, Emotional, Sexual, Self-Abuse and Neglect. The average length of treatment is 3 to 12 months.  Once they are successful in the therapeutic program many of them leave the center and are allow to return home, placed with adoptive parents or in the foster care system.

It is Chicktime Katy’s desire to step in the gap for these young girls as we come beside them encouraging, loving, and striving to build them up as they begin their walk of recovery.
