Chicktime Cooking for a Cause

P.J. Oliver Founder Catering for a Cause
ALL proceeds...
Yes, you are reading this correctly...
ALL proceeds
from Cooking for a Cause are currently donated to CASA of Central Texas!

Let us cater your holiday desserts... to help CASA cater to the needs of the children!

How This All Got Started!

P.J. Oliver, long serving Chicktime volunteer, is beginning a new adventure. Her love of good friends and good food along with a deep desire to serve the children of Comal County have come togehter in a poweful way.

P.J. has a heart for children pulled out of their homes because those homes are no longer safe due to abuse and/or neglect. Once in the care of the state, much attention is needed to ensure that these kids end up in a safe place to call home.

During a birthday lunch (not telling how many candles!) PJ was inspired to dream big and out of the box. This is definitely an adventure and a journey PJ wants to share with others wanting to make the world a better place!

Cooking for a Cause will offer catering with a twist... ALL proceeds will benefit children suffering from abuse and/or neglect. All proceeds for 2009 are pledged to CASA of Central Texas.

Call or email P.J. today if you are interested in volunteering with Cooking for a Cause. Look for calendar dates on the Chicktime calendar for monthly 'tasting' outings and opportunities to cook and/or assist P.J. in delivery and set/up.

Cooking for a Cause will focus on just desserts for the holiday season with a full menu planned for 2010. Please make sure to remember Cooking for a Cause for you holiday desserts!
